How Do I Know There Is a Problem? Tips on Self-Editing for Undergraduate Multilingual Writers
In this workshop, you'll learn and practice tips and tricks to help you gain confidence in your ability to proofread and edit your writing.
Overview | Do you feel like you need someone else to "correct" your writing? Do you feel that you often cannot express your ideas as clearly or as thoughtfully as you might like? This workshop will introduce tips and tricks to help you gain confidence in your ability to proofread and revise your own writing. We'll also talk about some helpful strategies to use before you write and as you write to build vocabulary and to combat the frustration of feeling that you cannot express your ideas in writing. This is not a grammar review! Workshop participants should bring a sample of their writing (anything!) to the workshop. |
