Improving Your Paper's Flow

Learn some strategies for improving organization, transitions, and coherence in your papers.

If you have anxiety about the "flow" of your writing, you're not alone. But what does flow mean, anyway? In this workshop, we'll demystify this writing concept and practice some concrete strategies to improve the organization, transitions, and coherence of your papers. In particular, we will discuss how topic sentence outlines can give you more control over every aspect of your paper's "flow." This workshop will be most useful for freshmen and sophomore students looking for writing strategies for the college level essay.

Intended Audience

First-year and sophomore students taking courses in all levels and disciplines.
