Preparing for the Liberal Arts Essay Scholarship Competition

If you're entering the Liberal Arts Essay Competition, you'll definitely want to reserve a spot in this workshop! We'll discuss requirements for the essay contest, examine samples from previous years, and offer strategies for success.

Overview

In this session, you'll learn about the requirements for this essay contest, examine successful samples from previous competitions, and get feedback on your own draft.


Please bring four copies of your draft to discuss with Writing Center instructors and other workshop participants.
