The graphics used in the University of Wisconsin-Madison Online Writing Center were designed for us by the graphics professionals at the UW-Madison Division of Information Technology. They represent a great deal of work and a considerable expenditure. That’s why we ask that you not download, copy, or otherwise reproduce them.

By the same token, the text content and the design of the pages themselves represent substantial time and effort on the part of the entire Writing Center staff. Again, please don’t copy or reproduce what we’ve come to consider our own little bit of intellectual property. You may, of course, provide hypertext pointers to our materials, as long as proper credit is given for their source.
